Tips on Staying Safe on Social Media
- Don't post any personal information
- Block & report any suspicious content
- Be cautious of clicking on third party links leading to another platform
- Enable Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) - requires anyone logging into an account to prove their identity multiple ways
- Use Facebook privacy shortcuts and settings.
- Be aware of logging into devices that are not yours and remember to logout.
- Habitually customize and check your privacy settings.
- Report any suspicious activity you see on Facebook.
