2023 Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a global initiative designed to educate individuals about the importance of cybersecurity, both personally and professionally. It's a reminder that we all play a crucial role in keeping our online spaces safe and secure.

Every October, SDSU is launching a month-long program to create awareness about cybersecurity.

The IT Security Office (ITSO) will have weekly articles, tips and games to promote cybersecurity at SDSU. Please visit the SDSU 2023 Cybersecurity Awareness Month website to participate.

The weekly themes for this year include:

Week 1 - Password Protection
Week 2 - Be Cyber Smart! 
Week 3 - Recognize and Report Phishing
Week 4 - Privacy and Security: Be the Guardian of Your Own Galaxy
