What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

MFA is a security process that requires you to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to an account or system. Instead of just relying on a password (something you know), MFA adds extra layers of protection, such as:

• Something you have (e.g., a smartphone or security key)
• Something you are (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition)

This layered approach ensures that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized users are still blocked from accessing your accounts.
