Information Security Plan

The SDSU Information Security Plan has been adopted by the President’s Cabinet. The Information Security Plan contains the minimum policies and standards necessary for protecting information, systems, and networks.

SDSU Information Security Plan

The Self Assessment form is referenced in the Information Security Plan (section 3.98) and is used for departments to determine compliance with the University Information Security Plan. For areas not in compliance, the department must create a written plan to achieve compliance, preferably within one year, and track progress every six months until compliance is reached.

The Information Security Plan is currently only available in PDF format, but the Security Policies are available in html format.

President Hirshman signed a Computing Resources memo to all SDSU faculty and staff emphasizing the protection of those resources.
